We’re always on the look out for talented people who share our passion for great beer to come and join us in Berkshire. Since opening in 2013, we were voted 2nd Best New Brewery in the World by Ratebeer.com followed by Best UK Brewer in 2014, so have been working a fast pace to keep up with demand for our beers.

With growth and expansion it is now time for us to add to our strong team at the brewery, here are some of the vacancies we are currently looking to fill:

Brewery Sales Person

Last year, we produced over 1.6 million pints of beer, exported to more than 20 countries and got voted as being one of the top 100 brewers in the world for the 3rd year running. That’s where you come in.

We are looking for a driven, passionate and motivated person to join our sales team. You will be responsible for increasing sales through both new and existing customer relationships.

You will be making calls to new and existing accounts getting familiar with your customer base as well as performing some administrative sales duties.

After a 6 month period, the role will progress to being mobile limiting your time at the brewery to 2 – 3 days per week with the rest of the time spent in the field visiting accounts, training staff, visiting trade events & hosting your own events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing, maintaining and building relationships with new and existing accounts
  • Driving sales across independent and small group pubs and retail accounts across our direct delivery routes across the South East and Midlands
  • Completing necessary reports and maintaining personal development goals

Key Competencies

  • An understanding and passion for beer
  • You’re a great communicator
  • Strong relationship builder
  • You’re a self-starter with a “can do” attitude
  • Good sense of humour
  • Sales experience ideal, although training will be given

If this role is for you, please forward your CV along with a covering letter detailing why you interested in the position and why you feel this is the job for you.

Packaging Line Supervisor

Siren Craft Brew is a young, independent brewery established in early 2013. Since then we have picked up numerous awards including being voted 2nd Best New Brewery in the World in 2013, the Best Brewery in England 2014 and have held a place in the top 100 Brewers in the world for the past three years.

Our small-pack volumes have increased four-fold since installing our 12-head CIMEC filler with in-line labeller in late 2015. We are now looking for a full time supervisor to take responsibility for all of our bottling operations. This is a key new position focused on maintaining Siren standards and keeping up our focus on quality.

During bottling runs, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating the line and supervising colleagues in the packaging team to meet the daily packaging requirements. This involves preparing the packaging hall and required materials, organising the team on shift to cover all parts of the process through the day, setting up and monitoring labelling, monitoring critical points of filling, performing regular quality checks throughout the pack run.

The role will include responsibility for maintenance of the plant, stock control and quality control measures. It may also be necessary at times to assist with other areas of packaging, and full training will be provided to help with performing other tasks and with awareness of the entire packaging operation.

You will need to be able to work well within a team, and comfortable leading and managing your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver scheduled packaging requirements
  • Set-up, breakdown and cleaning of bottling line
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment
  • Perform quality checks and related paperwork
  • Stock control of packaging-related items

We offer full training, a competitive salary and an opportunity to thrive in an exciting and fast-paced workplace. An interest in beer is an advantage but not an essential. The role can include representing Siren at events and festivals.

Experience on a packaging or production line or a previous brewery role is preferred but not a prerequisite; any experience in a related area – engineering, food and drink, lab-work – will be an advantage. You will need to be physically fit, able to work on your feet for long periods, and to lift 25kg.

To apply for this position, please send a CV and covering letter to our Pack Manager – Steve, explaining your interest in the role and why you would be the right candidate.

If none of our current available vacancies fit your experience but you still feel that add to our team here, then we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us and we’ll keep you in mind for future opportunities.
