New DIPA: Hop Candy Launches Today

We’re very excited to finally get Hop Candy out there today!

It’s a brand new double IPA exploding with hops. Hop Candy leads with a simcoe-forward pine and evergreen aroma backed up with deep tropical fruit and berry notes, brightened with fresh lime. Expect more of the same when drinking, with more balanced tropical flavours in the foreground. Lupulin powder, oats, wheat, plus the fact that we never filter, mean that the beer may pour with a slight natural haze.

Here’s the thinking behind it from our Head Brewer, Kyle Larsen:

“Hop Candy was born after we acquired a few boxes of a new product called Lupulin Powder, which is said to give a cleaner, more intense flavour profile. We wanted to put the powder to the test and what better way to do then to make a big ol double IPA. Oh, and for good measure we added a pinch of lime zest to help brighten up the beer on a whole.”

This is just a single batch so is in limited supply, but we’re delighted to let you know that all of the following bars, pubs and bottles shops will have it available to drink from today (Friday 24th Feb):
