Rainbow Project 2016 Launch Party

At the brewery: Weller Drive, Finchampstead, RG40 4QZ
Tickets | Facebook Event

We’re very excited to announce that the Rainbow Project has returned for 2016, and this time we’re heading to New Zealand for our collaboration inspiration! But this year we wanted to put on a launch party back where the Rainbow Project began, down here in sunny Finchampstead!

So we’re throwing open the brewery doors for our first party in over a year.

From the UK this time out we are joined by Beavertown, Burning Sky (making their Rainbow Project debut), Hawkshead, Partizan, Magic Rock and Wild Beer Co. Our New Zealand counterparts are the superb: 8 Wired, Fork & Brewer, Garage Project, Liberty Brewing, Panhead, ParrotDog and Yeastie Boys.

Along with all 7 Rainbow Project beers on tap, we’ll also have special beers from all the breweries involved (plus one or two rarities of our own), and Rainbow Project mixed cases available to purchase.

We’ll also have street food from the likes of Original Patty Men and music throughout the day.
Please note that we are making this a ticket-only event. It’s first-come-first-served and we won’t be able to allow people to come in without tickets. For the £12.00 (+ VAT/Fees) entry fee you will receive a complimentary Rainbow Project glass for the day and drinks tokens to the value of £10.00. Tickets are available from Eventbrite:

Transport will be provided to and from Wokingham Train Station. You can reach Wokingham direct from London Waterloo in approximately 60 minutes. You can also get to Wokingham from Reading Station direct in around 10 minutes, Reading offers links all over the country.

We have also arranged a special discount at a local hotel, The Kingsley at Eversley. Simply quote ‘Siren Craft Brew’ when booking over the telephone and you’ll get 10% off their nightly rate.

Keep up-to-date on the Facebook Event Page or comment below if you have any questions! Other official launch events will be held at Magic Rock and Beavertown on the same day.

  1. Darren says:

Hi Guys, how often will you be providing transport to and from Wokingham Train Station? Cheers!

    • admin says:

Hi Darren, there will be around 6 big taxis going back and forward at the peak times and then they’re on hand throughout the day as and when needed. Cheers.

  2. Mark Booth says:

Quick question, just went to buy a ticket. I presume its completely sold out?

    • admin says:

It is sold out, yes. However, if people requests refunds we are doing that and getting the tickets back up on the site, so it’s worth checking in every now and then. Cheers.

  3. Liz says:

I got over excited at the prospect of attending another event at your fab brewery and bought two tickets without checking the dates. I am not in UK that weekend ; (

Would it be ok to sell my tickets for face value? Don’t want to if they won’t work for someone else. Do you know anyone who missed out on tickets who would like them?

    • admin says:

Hi Liz, if you ‘request refund’ through your confirmation email we’ll happily oblige and get the tickets back on sale. Cheers.

  4. Jamie Booth says:

Hi, When are the taxi’s running until?
And are they doing trips back to the station?

  5. Ben says:

Does anyone have any spare tickets?

    • Jamie Booth says:

There is a promo code that releases tickets if you’re a local, you need to pick up a leaflet from a local pub/craft beer shop to get the code though.

  6. Craig says:

Just seeing if any tickets have become available as I would love to get my hands on two if possible

  7. Chris says:

Any news on beer lists for the weekend? I need something to add to my already ridiculous levels of excitement!

  8. Anthony says:

Are you guys taking card payments on Saturday or is it cash only?

    • admin says:

Hi Anthony, you can pay for tokens with cards and all bars accept tokens.

However, the street food guys and bottles/merch will be cash.
