Maiden '15

The 2015 vintage of our Anniversary Barley Wine. Take a Barley Wine, age it in various different barrels, bring them back together using the skills of beer, spirit & wine makers to create an indulgent alluring complex beer. Maiden is the first beer to be brewed at Siren, and the first new beer to be brewed each year.

We were particularly happy with the fresh Maiden brewed this year, and it’s made up 50% of the 2015 blend. The other half consists of the following barrel-aged barley wine: 33% Auchentoshan, 21% Red Wine, 15% Jack Daniels, 9% Pedro Ximenez, 9% Madeira, 4.33% Tequila, 4.33% Glentauchers and 4.33% Banyuls.
