1. Dark & Perilous Nights in Belgium

"Last May I was part of a collaborative beer tasting evening at Brouwerij Bourgogne des Flandres in Brugge, Belgium. Myself, head brewer Thomas Vandelanotte and founder of 'Belgian Beer Me!', Stu Stuart, hosted a discussion on current and potentially future trends in the beer industries of Belgium, Canada, UK and US. This involved presenting beers from the aforementioned countries. I brought along beer from Anspach and Hobday, Kernel and Dark and Perilous Nights from Siren. After a long evening of discussion, presentation and a lot of Q and A, the consensus was that Siren was the beer of the evening. A proud moment.- Paul

2. Siren From East to West

"I still remember the first time I had a Siren beer—it was in Hong Kong, before I moved to the UK. About three or four years ago, I went to a craft beer shop near my home and saw this beautifully designed can: Siren Soundwave IPA. I bought a few cans to share with my friends. Back then, I never imagined that a few years later, the same group of friends and I would move from Hong Kong to the UK and even have the chance to visit Siren’s taproom in Reading for a drink together. It feels like Siren has had a place in our journey of moving abroad.- Hang

3. Mum's The Word

"I remember sneaking off from the in-laws under the guise of getting-my-3-year-old-to-sleep-via-a-car-ride which happen to find its way to Siren brewery. He was asleep when I arrived so I ordered a drink and a pizza and sat in the glorious sunshine on the edge of the carpark. And I left with a few boxes of beer from the fridge. Success.- Cong

4. A Bittersweet Farewell

"In 2018 I moved to the new build development - Nightingale Fields. After living there for about a year, I happened across the micro-brewery Siren whilst out walking through the forest with my children. It was like a match made in heaven! Safe to say I frequented there many more times with friends, families and sometimes I'm even on my own. Whether it was filling up a growler, grabbing a 3rd in the tap room or taking my dad on a tour of the microbrewery for his Father's Day - I always had a great time. Having moved to Essex in the last year, I will often say that it is genuinely one of the things I miss the most about living back home! Being a coeliac, it is incredibly hard to find a GF ale as good as Lumina so whenever friends or family come to visit, I'll always ask them to bring me a case!- Aaron

5. Gluten Free Sipping in Finchampstead

"My wife and I always enjoyed craft beer together, which got more difficult after her diagnoses with coeliac disease in 2019. Our discovery of plenty of gluten free options, which are also incredible beers has reignited our passion for this. I advocate where possible on gluten free social media groups your brilliant options. We now have a little one who loves coming with us and playing board games in the tap room." - Joe, Alice and Ted

6. Pedals, Pours and Pompelmocello

"One weekend, craving a new cycling adventure, I spotted Siren Tap Yard on the map and decided to give it a go. Pedaling through winding roads and lush forest, I finally arrived—and it was love at first sight. The vibe was perfect—surrounded by nature, outdoor games, delicious food, and of course, incredible beer. Pompelmocello stole the show with its punchy, zesty flavor—exactly what I needed after the ride. Now, every few months, I make it my mission to cycle back, knowing I’ll be welcomed by great drinks and even better vibes—the perfect pit stop!- Evita

7. An Early Soundwave Experience

"I remember when your first 4 beers appeared at Reading Beer Festival in 2013. I was working on the cellar team. I remember tapping the barrel of Soundwave and in essence I was the first person at the festival to try it. I remember being hugely impressed and told too many people how good it was, the barrel didn't last very long at all!!- Tim

8. Alien Concepts

"A friend convinced me to try Facebook's dark mode, and as fate would have it, an ad for Siren's limited Alien: Romulus ['Something In The Water'] run popped up! I usually hesitate to order beer online, but the unique concept and striking imagery drew me in. I decided to take a chance and am so glad I did. The beer was truly out of this world! The rich, dark flavours and subtle spice notes perfectly captured the atmosphere of the Alien universe. I shared a few cans with the same friend during a movie night, and it was a huge hit! Everyone was impressed by the quality and the unique taste. It was the perfect addition to our gathering. I'm now a fan and can't wait to see what they come up with next." - Andrew

9. New Country, New Beer

"Originally from Chicago and loving heavy beers, I found you by chance after a work volunteer experience with the National Trust at Simon's Wood. Someone recommended you and I haven't looked back after the first visit to the (at that time) new Tap Yard. From the beers to the staff, online and in person to the events across the past 10 years or so that I have been in the UK (now a citizen!), Siren has been a part of my journey and I have brought friends from here and the States to enjoy and share in the beers and laughs--even a new love in my life. The beer has kept me coming back as have the people and the memories made so far! Thank you for being true to form and self, you make beer and the beer loving community better and I love you all for that.- Michael

10. Serendipity in Las Vegas

"Days before we had been planning to get in some Siren mixed boxes for our wedding, Broken Dream went and won CAMRA's Supreme Champion Beer of Britain. Unsurprisingly, there was a mad rush to get a hold of it and the mixed boxes quickly sold out. We considered ourselves very lucky to manage to get a few in just in time. On honeymoon we went on an escorted beer tour in Las Vegas, and I was telling everyone about this wonderful brewery whose beer we'd got in for our wedding. It was with some amazement, then, that we found Siren Affogato was on tap at Atomic Bar (the place where you once used to be able to watch atomic weapons tests). Apparently that made it my round. Probably fair enough.- Phil

11. Connecting Through Craft

"For me Siren is about connection; a group of us who now live far apart order the Siren advent calendar each year and enjoy sharing the beers over a virtual call. It is a great way to catch up with friends and enjoy a shared experience. Oh, it helps that Siren's beers are both varied and delicious!- Rob

12. Destination Siren

"In 2020 we were buying beers from a local online merchant. My wife was picking out the Siren beers each time. Karen likes the sours, it was the IPAs for me and both of us the BA stouts. So, for Christmas I bought her a box direct from the brewery. Once on the mailing list we began ordering regularly. A highlight was the 8th anniversary box. Karen still says that me putting her name on the can is one of the most romantic things I have done.

So, we had to visit and got to the taproom in October 2021. Our second trip was 2022 and I enjoyed the tour. When we went back that evening I asked if Karen could see the barrel store, the highlight of the tour and a magical place. We visited again in 2024 also had a meal at the G&D.I have several favourite breweries, but Siren stands out as being the only one that I have no geographical or personal connection with. Our 3 stays in Wokingham were simply to visit Siren. They have earned their place in our affections purely on the quality of the beers and the stories that go with them." - James and Karen
