So what is a craft lager? The beers use specific ingredients and are bottom-fermented by unique yeast strains. They're also fermented and conditioned cold. The word lager comes from the German for 'storage' - process is everything. It's the cool time, or lagering, in tank that makes these beers so clean. Lager is a diverse style, from German classics like Helles, Dunkel or Märzen through to the more heavily hopped Pilsners, and many worldwide interpretations. Check out our Italian Pils, for example.
