A rare opportunity at the heart of our business, capturing the best stories across our brewery, venues and trade customers and bringing them to life in the most engaging way possible. We’re looking for someone with a mixed skillset who can create work that excites our community, along with showing the tenacity and organisation required to deliver an exceptional calendar of content.
Siren is an independent brewery based near Reading, with an excellent reputation for making beers ranging from everyday favourites to premium, barrel aged products. We are proud to have been recognised for both brewing delicious beers and delivering cut-through marketing campaigns since starting out in 2013.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage day-to-day social media presence for our brand accounts, capturing content, designing and scheduling posts and engaging with our community
- Find and bring to life the amazing stories around our brewery and venues
- Grow and nurture our online communities with positive interaction
- Explore and develop our presence on emerging platforms
- Coordinate and deliver photoshoots to required briefs
- Active contribution to wider team’s delivery of projects and campaigns
What we’re looking for:
This role touches all aspects of our small business, including our production team, venues, pub and retail customers. We’re looking for someone with skill & interest in social media, but who also demonstrates great care for their work, the team and community around them. You’ll bring enthusiasm and energy to projects, a can-do attitude and you’ll be willing to jump in to help out wherever needed. You’ll thrive on collaborating with colleagues around the business and bringing new ideas to life.
You’ll also need:
- Experience working on brand social media accounts
- Proven understanding of how to engage and grow communities
- An eye for design with care and attention to detail
- Ability to write snappy, engaging caption copy to tone-of-voice
- Experience creating and editing short form video
- Additional photography & design (Abobe/Canva) skills would stand you out
- Valid UK driving license is beneficial to reach the brewery, venues and events
Key information:
- Salary in the region of £28,000-33,000 depending on experience (we consider this a mid/junior role but will consider mid/senior applications with additional responsibilities)
- Full time position with some evenings and weekends when required
- Some flexibility possible, but presence on-location is important to the role

Siren Craft Brew was born in 2013 with a simple idea in mind: to introduce exciting, full-flavoured and forward-thinking beers to as many people as possible. As part of that mission, we offer our beer as fresh as possible - direct from the source through our on-site tasting room and web shop.
We are on the lookout for people with a friendly, proactive attitude and a passion for customer experience to join our small, committed team in delivering the highest possible standards of service to our beer-loving community. This area of the business is agile and responsibilities varied.
Main duties will include:
• Serving and assisting customers (on and off sales)
• Educating customers about our beer and philosophy
• Assisting with festivals and other events where and when possible
• Preparing web orders and customer collections
You will need to:
• Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Be flexible (available shifts could vary and the Tap Yard opens on Saturdays)
• Take pride in your work with great attention to detail
• Experience is preferred but more important is the willingness to learn and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, community, craft beer or a combination.

Siren Craft Brew is a ambitous, fast-growing and independent brewery that has been in production since early 2013. Since brewing commenced, we’ve picked up numerous awards including Best Brewery in England 2014 (Ratebeer) and Champion Beer of Britain in 2018 (CAMRA).
You’ll need to be pro-active, passionate and flexible, and in return will have the opportunity to really make the role your own whilst working with a fantastic community of beer lovers.
The Tap Yard is the frontline of what we do, serving brewery-fresh beer and running some of the most exciting events in the beer scene. We envisage this role evolving over time with opportunities for key involvement in future projects and Tap Yard developments.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day running of the Tap Yard and open/close procedures
- Manage and grow a dedicated team including training and shift-planning
- Oversee cellar maintenance and quality standards
- Manage stock and commercials with regular reporting
- Work with the management team to assess and implement new offerings
- Drive the planning and execution of events
- Marketing of the Tap Yard through social media channels
- Hands on management of our small pizza kitchen
- Conducting weekly brewery tours on a Saturday
- Management of street food vendors on a weekend
- Driving Sales on a daily basis and influence local marketing projects
- Maintain labour spending budgets on a weekly basis
- Maintenance of equipment and fixtures within the business
Requirements
- Demonstrable passion for beer/food/customer service
- Previous management experience in a similar environment
- Desire to keep learning and inspire the team and customers
- Proactive attitude to drive the Tap Yard forward and explore new opportunities
- Flexible and always willing to go the extra mile
- People person with a strong community focus

Working Hours - 48 Hour Contract (Includes Weekends)
Salary range includes (Base Salary is £34,000-£37,000 plus 10% bonus)
