A GUIDE TO SIREN BEER RELEASES

PART ONE: SEASONAL RELEASES

Have you ever wondered how our beer release schedule works? Each can or bottle that we produce falls under a different release type; Flagship, Specials & Collaborations, and Regular Returners. Some beers stick with us year-round, some are brewed on a semi-regular basis, and others, while never truly leaving our hearts, will only be treated to a single batch brewed - these are the ones you really don’t want to miss! Good beer is brewed to be enjoyed at any time of the year, with no particular bias towards the weather - but there are undoubtedly times that call for a certain style to align with a particular season; enter, our seasonal brews.

We recently released Chasing Rainbows, a sunny Helles style beer, and the first of four seasonal lagers to be brewed this year - more on that below. We’re also happy to announce three returning seasonal specials for 2025. Let’s take a look at what’s coming up, and why we’re brewing beer in keeping with the seasons!

SEASONAL BREWS

We knew early on that for 2025 we wanted to bring a heightened focus to our seasonal releases, which is why you’ll also see three familiar faces returning on top of our lager seasonal specials. These beers formed cornerstones of Siren, each in their own way, and we’re looking forward to bringing them back to you this year - can you guess what they are?

Traditionally, beer has always been brewed seasonally, with lighter beers such as pale ales and IPAs reserved for the warmer spring and summer months, and bolder darker beers (stouts, porters and dark ales) retaining a special place during the equally dark autumn and winter period. Here’s a look at our three upcoming seasonal specials…

CHASING RAINBOWS: OUR FIRST SEASONAL LAGER OF 2025

If you enjoy a good lager and you’ve not yet tried our latest Helles style, Chasing Rainbows, it’s time to stock up - you’re going to love it. This is the first of four seasonal lagers releasing this year; a lager for every season, so to speak. This particular beer itself uses traditional Bavarian hops, sourced directly from the farm, to bring a balance of floral, lightly fruity and grassy notes to the table.

Three further seasonal lagers will follow in June, September and November, each in keeping with the season they are to be released in. Make sure you’re subscribed to our mailing list emails to get early access when they launch!

SPRING, SUMMER & AUTUMN

Turning away from lager for a moment, we’re pleased to have gotten the chance to bring back three former favourites which have now found their home as new seasonal specials..

As per tradition, we mark the start of Spring with White Tips, our expression of a wit beer combined with IPA levels of hops. This works particularly well as a Spring release, bringing a bright and refreshing beer to your glass with pithy citrus flavours and delicate spice. White Tips was actually a part of our first ever seasonal range of IPAs (others including Half Mast, 7 Seas, and Rising tides). White Tips will be released in April, as is tradition.

Calypso roars with sharp, spritzy and mouth-puckering sensation, accented by a tropical and citrussy hop aroma - Summer is here! Many associate sour styles with the warmer weather, and it’s not difficult to understand why: these beers are frequently brewed at a sessionable alcohol content, refreshingly zippy, and often fruit-forward. Calypso will be a staple in your fridge come July.

We’ve released this hearty red IPA as a surprise comeback over the past couple of years, and we’re always astounded (and humbled) by the love given to one of our earliest brews. Perfect for the colder Autumnal weather, Liquid Mistress balances a toasty, biscuit-and-burnt-raisin malt base with the grapefruit and peach spark of Amarillo and Centennial hops. What’s an October bonfire without a few cans of Liquid Mistress?
