They say three is the perfect number… and this year, we’re inclined to agree! We’re delighted to share with you the news that we’ve received three 2026 Great Taste Awards from Guild of Fine Food!
You'll likely recognize the gold-starred badge from browsing the isles of your local Supermarket; an award reserved only for products of exceptional quality. This stands as a fantastic achievement for everyone involved (shoutout to our stellar production team!) and one we’re incredibly proud to celebrate. Our team's creativity, attention to detail and commitment to quality are behind every beer we brew, and while awards are always greatly appreciated, the real reward is knowing that our beers are being shared, enjoyed and appreciated by you.
Soundwave 0.5 Low Alcohol IPA ⭐⭐
"There is a good level of body and a richness that isn't common in low/no alcohol and it lingers on the palate with an authentic beer taste that belies its low alcohol content."
Welcome to tropical hop heaven, without the alcohol! This is our low-alcohol edition of the classic flagship Soundwave; eminently drinkable, full of flavour and subtle with bitterness. Guild of Fine Food was so pleased with this entry that they awarded it a double star, reserved for beers that "go above and beyond simply delicious to be outstanding in taste quality."
The judges commented that the flavour delivers on the dry hops, taking the drinker on a journey, with a good, lingering, bitter aftertaste. They also noted that there's a richness to be found here that isn't common in other low and no alcohol beers. We previously were delighted to have received a Gold award for this beer from the Indie Beer Awards in February this year; this is the icing on the cake.
Lumina Session IPA ⭐
"The judges enjoyed the resinous, citrussy aroma of this session IPA and the crisp effervescence in the mouth. There was a juiciness to the finish that made it pleasingly mouthwatering."
Lumina is our shining light, glowing with juicy tropical fruit notes. Hoppy aromas of mango and pineapple guide you towards explosive flavour, flashes of delicate citrus highlights and refreshing balanced bitterness. The judges agreed with our vision for Lumina too, noting that "tinned pineapple and lychee flavours were pleasing, with a good level of bitterness."
Lumina has been a fan-favourite since it released six years ago in 2020, and has gone on to become highly respected by the wide community of coeliac drinkers thanks to the brewing techniques that allow Lumina to stand on its own as a Gluten Free ale. This is our best-selling beer for good reason.
Siren Pils, Modern Lager ⭐
"Pale gold clarity in the glass is enticing, as also the soft, floral aroma lifted by hints of citrus zest."
Siren Pils is our most recent member of the Flagship lineup, and has gone on to become an icon at beer festivals and events such as Endure24. This crisp and refreshing modern pilsner has been awarded a Great Taste Award for its bright citrus notes and the fresh, floral aroma of sun-kissed Bavarian hops (sourced straight from the fields!).
The beer itself is the result of years of refinement, dialing in our processes to ferment and condition as cold as possible, keeping the lager clean and refreshing with beautifully distinct flavour. The judges commended Siren Pils for its "soft, floral aroma, lifted by hints of citrus zest." and enjoyed hints of hints of raspberry, citrus and biscuit scattered throughout.
