We are 10 and you're invited

Needless to say, so much has changed in that time. We’re on an incredible journey that has meant a lot to everyone involved. It’s also been more challenging than we ever could have imagined, but perhaps that just makes this milestone a little more significant, more rewarding and definitely something worth celebrating.

In the spirit of Siren held from day one, we intend to have some fun with this. There will be beers. There will be events. There will be content. There will be good times. And again, in the spirit of Siren held from day one, there will undoubtedly be some bad ideas!

We’ll be looking back over the years for inspiration and nostalgia, talking about some of the highs and the lows, the variety of different projects, all the while celebrating some of the milestones we’re most proud of. We’ll also be looking forward to what’s next, as we begin work on a very exciting year. 

Above all, we’ll be doing our best to say thank you to each and every person reading this blog, everyone who has given our beer a shot over the years and especially those who have helped spread the word to your friends, families and local pubs. We wouldn’t be here without you.

How can I get involved?

So, how shall we get this going? Well it would be rude not to host a 10th Anniversary Party. The date will be Saturday 18th March. It’s the first time we’ve hosted a party like this in March for five years and we cannot wait. Click here for details and tickets. (UPDATE - SOLD OUT!)

Ten Things

1 Maiden

The beer that started it all will be taking centre stage. We’re blending Maiden 2022 today, and we’ll be bringing the beer and the blending concept out on the road as well. There is a lot more to come from Maiden, but you’ll have to wait to find out more.

10 Comebacks

If we can’t indulge in a little nostalgia now, when can we? Look out for returning beers (we’ll need your help choosing some of them), returning events, returning team members and some very pleasant strolls down memory lane.

10 Events

It’s only fair to take the show on the road. There will be some big events, some small events, some secret events, and some available to book tickets for right now this second, go get your tickets. 

10 Heroes

We want to raise a glass to ten people who have had an amazing part to play in Siren’s journey. We’ll be asking for your help to shout out our biggest advocates and our most committed collectors, but we’ll also be looking further afield with the unsung heroes in our supply chain.

10 Home Collaborations

We owe a lot to collaborations. From the early specials to the most recent CCC, these beers and projects have been great learning exercises, amazing fun and very important to our team. Expect at least 10 visitors to Finchampstead this year.

10 Away Collaborations

We’ll also be committing to getting out of Hogwood Lane and working with some of the incredible breweries near and far. There are so many people we’re excited to meet for the first time and of course some old friends who are well overdue a visit.

10 Good Causes

In 2022, with your help, we raised more money than ever for causes close to our team and customers. We intend to better that in 2023 and commit to support (a minimum of) ten charities or fundraising efforts across a range of good causes.

10 Bad Ideas

Well, you’ve got to let us have one easy one. 

10 Months For 10 Years

We’ve already started work on a new blog series. Each month for the rest of the year, we’ll be telling the story of a different chapter in Siren’s timeline. From worm beers to spinbots, time hops to building hops, it’s all going to be in there.

10 Years More

It’s not all going to be retrospective. We want to mark this year with some important decisions and commitments to keep moving onwards and upwards. You’ll be hearing more about all of this very soon.
