Siren 10th Anniversary Brewery Party

With the brewery turning 10 years old, it would be rude not to host a big Anniversary Party. The date will be Saturday 18th March. It’s the first time we’ve hosted a party like this in March for five years and we cannot wait.

For the first time in five years, we’re throwing open the warehouse doors for a little birthday shindig!

We’d like to invite you to celebrate our 10th Anniversary in the way we know best, with great beers, great food and great company. Expect around 30 lines of beers pouring, incredible street food and a host of unique tasting opportunities.

Siren Awaken Investors

Please note that your discount cards can be used at the bottle shop for any take-homes or merchandise but discounts do not apply to token prices. Thanks for joining us today!

Charity Raffle

We’ll be raffling a very special Maiden box set on the day. 5 vintage Maiden’s are in this custom made wooden box, with individual etching. There are only 10 of these in existence. Tickets will cost £10 and all proceeds will go to charity. Thanks for your support!

Transport

We are aware that there is now due to be some industrial action on Saturday 18th. Having weighed up all the options, we have decided to stick to the original date and time for the event. Among all the ticket holders there is a varied mix of people travelling from near and far, with many having already secured hotel rooms locally, and in at least one case, flights booked!

It is impossible for us to know what the situation will look like on the trains until very close to the day, possibly the day itself. Please keep an eye on train providers for more details.

As you already know, we are once again running transport from Wokingham and the brewery is already serviced by the Leopard bus service from Reading (see more on that below), with plenty of taxi services also operating and parking available on the estate also.

Shuttle Buses from Wokingham - 11.00, 11.45, 12.30 & 13.15

Shuttle Buses to Wokingham - 16.00, 16.45, 17.30

Leopard 3 Bus

For those who have come to us by bus before, please note that this no longer stops at the front of the estate, but behind, the Aborfield Centre stop. There is a short walk through the woods to the Tap Yard. Download the bus timetable here.

Weather / Surroundings

We’re operating from our Tap Yard, Warehouse, Sipping Containers and Marquees. Although this will provide good coverage, please check the forecast and don’t forget your waterproofs! If you are taking the bus, remember appropriate footwear as the ground is quite slippery.

(Siren beanies also available from the merch stand for those who get cold ;) )

Street Food

A brewery party isn't a party without some truly amazing food, and as ever we've put together a line up of the food we want to eat. Also, following feedback from the Time Hops festival last, we've also got some sweet treats for you.

Entertainment

We can’t have a party without the legendary Rum 'N' Donuts providing the soundtrack. Check them out in their own marquee AND a bar named in their honour for today.

Other Information

As always, dogs and children are welcome, however please note this is a beer festival with a different vibe to the Tap Yard ‘open day’ style events. Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and wrap up warm if necessary. (The last time we tried to host a brewery party in March the ‘Beast from the East II’ made itself known, keep your fingers crossed!). Soft drinks and wine will be available but the beers will of course be the main focus of the day. Investor discount will apply to all take out and merch purchases but not tokens.

Enjoy the Festival!

This is the first time for a while that we’ve hosted an event like this at the brewery. We would hugely appreciate if you could show our neighbours the same love and respect that you do for our venues, both on-site and when travelling to and from the location. We’re running an inclusive event and we have a zero tolerance policy on any type of harassment, full details here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c5yqfg94b4gnsny/10th.pdf?dl=0

We couldn’t run these events without our hard-working staff and volunteers and would ask that you offer them your patience if and when it’s needed.

Most of all, please look after each other and have fun. It’s going to be ace.

And yes, there will be a birthday cake.
