TAP YARD FAQ
Do I have to book a table?
On Wednesdays and Thursdays there is minimal seating inside, and operates as first come, first served. Weather dependent, we’ll have more seating outside. On Fridays we open our ‘Warehouse Garden’ from 3 until close, which again is first come first served and is indoor and heated. On Saturdays you will need to book to guarantee a table indoors. Again, weather dependent there will be some extra seating outside.
How do table bookings work?
We’re operating a system where you book into 2-hour sessions. This helps us control the flow of people and keep all risk to an absolute minimum. You’ll need to book through our Eventbrite page where you’ll see all available sessions. Please arrive on time for your booking, we can only hold your table for 15 minutes. If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know in good time as empty tables cost us and means someone else misses out. Thank you!
Do I need to book to come and collect beer, or fill a growler?
No, you will not. You’ll be able to arrive and visit the Tap Yard to collect orders or purchase cans and growler fills. Please adhere to all signage, making sure you have a mask with you and using the queueing system at busy times. If you have any questions or concerns at all our friendly staff will be happy to help.
What happens when I arrive at the Tap Yard?
If you’re collecting a web order or purchasing beer to take away, please enter through the Tap Yard main entrance. If you’re drinking in, please approach the warehouse door (to the left of the Tap Yard) where a member of the team will be waiting to meet, greet and seat you! Please put on your mask before approaching the doors and listen to all instructions given to you. You’ll be seated and beers will be delivered via table service. Payments are card only, so please make sure you have a card with you to pay at the end.
What beers will you be serving?
You can visit our UnTappd page on our website, or use the app to see our most up to date menu, or ask one of your servers for a menu and recommendations.
Is food being served?
On Saturdays we you’ll find the best street food vendors around serving up exciting dishes, from the freshest gyro’s to melt in the mouth wings, and super indulgent mac’n’cheese. For a list of upcoming vendors, please see the Eventbrite page to book.
What if I have any allergies?
Please let our staff know if you have any allergies or requirements relating to our beer and snacks, and food vendors with any food allergies or dietary requirements – we’ll all be very happy to help!
Is the Tap Yard family and/or dog friendly?
The Tap Yard is an opening and inclusive environment and we are both family and dog friendly! However, due to current government restrictions we ask that your children remain seated and all pets are on their best behaviours and kept on a lead.
I have a 2 hour slot booked, can I stay later?
To keep everyone safe, and stay within current government guidelines, we ask that you leave promptly at the end of your booking. Thank you for your co-operation.
