  • Regional Sales Manager

    Regional Sales Manager

    Siren Craft Brew was founded in 2013 and has continued to grow since. We have experienced an amazing 2023, and as a result are looking to expand our sales team.

    We are looking for a driven, passionate and ambitious person to join our sales team. You will have direct responsibility for for winning new business as well as maintaining and growing our existing business within London.

    This is a great opportunity to join a young business in a fun and dynamic environment. You will need to show you are flexible, hard-working and have a track record in sales along with a knowledge and passion for craft beer.

    The position will be primarily based remotely, with travel to the brewery in Finchampstead required occasionally, reporting into the Sales Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Develop a regional strategy of growing distribution, volume, profit and brand experience within a range of channels.

    · Develop mutually beneficial joint business plans with our customers in line with key company objectives.

    · Work with our wholesale partners and other key external stakeholders to drive our brands and win new business within London.

    · Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and departments such as customer hub and marketing

    · Develop and execute a specific strategy to win new business in your territory.

    · Managing your customers forecasts, orders & pre-orders, ensuring they get notice of the latest releases.

    · Host staff training, beer events and be a brand ambassador for Siren Craft Brew in London.

    · Clear and timely reporting to head of sales and accurate data input into relevant systems.

    · Ownership of your sales targets and personal development plan.

    Competencies

    · Enthusiastic, engaging and resilient personality

    · Lots of initiative & the ability to think on your feet.

    · 1-2 years of relevant account management experience.

    · Demonstrate a passion for the industry and our brand.

  • Tap Yard Assistant Manager

    The Tap Yard is the frontline of what we do, serving brewery-fresh beer and running some of the most exciting events in the beer scene. We envisage this role evolving over time with opportunities for key involvement in future projects and Tap Yard developments.     Responsibilities

    • Day-to-day running of the Tap Yard and open/close procedures
    • Manage and grow a dedicated team including training and shift-planning
    • Oversee cellar maintenance and quality standards

    • Work with the management team to assess and implement new offerings
    • Drive the planning and execution of events
    • Marketing of the Tap Yard through social media channels
    • Hands on management of our small pizza kitchen
    • Conducting weekly brewery tours on a Saturday
    • Management of Siren Street Food operation at weekends
    • Driving Sales on a daily basis and influence local marketing projects
    • Maintain labour spending budgets on a weekly basis

  • Tap Room / Retail Assistant

    Siren Craft Brew was born in 2013 with a simple idea in mind: to introduce exciting, full-flavoured and forward-thinking beers to as many people as possible. As part of that mission, we offer our beer as fresh as possible - direct from the source through our on-site tasting room and web shop.

    We are on the lookout for people with a friendly, proactive attitude and a passion for customer experience to join our small, committed team in delivering the highest possible standards of service to our beer-loving community. This area of the business is agile and responsibilities varied.

    Main duties will include:
    • Serving and assisting customers (on and off sales)
    • Educating customers about our beer and philosophy
    • Assisting with festivals and other events where and when possible
    • Preparing web orders and customer collections

    You will need to:
    • Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
    • Be flexible (available shifts could vary and the Tap Yard opens on Saturdays)
    • Take pride in your work with great attention to detail
    • Experience is preferred but more important is the willingness to learn and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, community, craft beer or a combination.

  • CELLAR LEAD

    We are creating a new role in our team to oversee the daily running of the brewery cellar, working closely with our Lead brewer and Head Brewer to optimise and continually improve the processes and quality in the brewery, at Siren Craft Brew.

    This role will involve working closely with our award-winning beers from fermentation tanks to bright beer tank. The right candidate will need to be a good problem solver and be able to look at innovative ways to improve our processes for continual improvement and driving efficiencies.

    The role will require you to be physically fit due to nature of the role.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Overseeing the daily running of the brewery cellars, working closely with lead brewer and packaging lead.
    • Working on the cellar floor daily to maintain even workflow between early and late cellar shifts.
    • Reporting on daily progress and identifying when task are running behind schedule
    • Following recipe instructions to ensure correct cellaring tasks are performed on each batch
    • Working on continual improvement projects around workflow efficiency in the cellar, brewery yields, flavour and beer quality and raw material efficiencies in our process’s.
    • Overseeing packaging line set up and pack downs to ensure efficient packaging run times.
    • Making sure all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks are allocated so the brewery hygiene is maintained
    • Research projects set out by lead brewer or head brewer to make improvements.
    • Working with QC department to maintain quality standards and investigate any potential risks that may occur in the brewery.
    • Manage, train and update SOP’s for all cellaring tasks.
    • Raw material management and stock taking were required, working to a FIFO system.

  • PACK LEAD

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Packaging Lead role at Siren Craft Brew

    Working closely with our Lead Brewer, this will involve overseeing packaging of our award-winning beer into kegs, casks, cans and bottles. The role will involve the operating and maintaining both of our modern canning and kegging lines to ensure production schedules are met.

    The role will require you to be physically fit due to nature of the role.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Helping oversee the production schedule of both large and small pack volumes.
    • Working with the packaging team to achieve the daily requirements and reporting to Lead Brewer on progress.
    • Understanding the operation of all machines in the packaging areas and helping improve operations and process’s within the packaging areas.
    • Maintaining the packaging lines and working with scheduling on maintenance and downtime required to keep machines running at full capacity.
    Managing raw materials stock for all packing formats and helping maintain minimum stock level’s
    • Managing, training and updating SOP’s for all operations within the packaging areas.
    • Working to food hygiene standards set by the brewery
    • Cleaning and maintaining the packaging area and machinery to the brewery standards.

    We are looking for a Packaging Operator to join our Packaging Team here at Siren Craft Brew.

    Reporting into our Packaging Lead, this role will involve the Packaging of our award-winning beer into kegs, casks and helping on the canning line.

    The role will require you to be physically fit due to nature of the role.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Cask and keg cleaning on our cleaning machine
    • Filling and palletising casks and kegs
    • Palletising boxes on canning and bottling lines
    • Handling of chemicals for cleaning
    • Working to food hygiene standards set by the brewer
    • Following Standard Operating Procedures
