  • Hospitality Area Manager

    Fresh from our recent acquisition of our first country pub, we are well underway planning our expansion of our Tap Yard into the town/city centre.

    Siren are well known for not only having an interesting and high quality set of flagship beers, but our collaborations and small batch releases tend to show off our playful side, not being afraid to make something interesting and sometimes potentially challenging of preconceptions.

    We want our venues to be the best place in the world to drink our beer, and for us that encapsulates offering the best hospitality experience, understanding what each venue has to offer differently and coaching and training around everything from service levels to beer & wine knowledge.

    Our venues will not be identikit build and drop, and whilst that brings challenges, for the right candidate this will be enormous fun.

    You will be working with venue managers to bring a people focused attention to really smashing the customer experience, own full financial accountability, and really make the most out of each site. This role is about people and how do you make your teams the best they can be

    What Are We Looking For?

  • Regional Sales Manager: London

    Siren is an internationally renowned brewery which has shown significant growth even through 2020. The brewery is known for an interesting and high quality portfolio of flagship beers, but perhaps even moreso for the playful and innovative collaborations and small batch releases which are never afraid to challenge preconceptions.

    We are looking for a driven, passionate and ambitious person to join our sales team. You will have direct responsibility for for winning new business as well as maintaining and growing our existing business within London.

    This is a great opportunity to join a young business in a fun and dynamic environment. You will need to show you are flexible, hard-working and have a track record in sales along with a knowledge and passion for craft beer.

    The position will be primarily based remotely, with travel to the brewery in Finchampstead required occasionally, reporting in to the Sales Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

     • Develop a regional strategy of growing distribution, volume, profit and brand experience within a range of channels.
     • Develop mutually beneficial joint business plans with our customers in line with key company objectives.
     • Work with our wholesale partners and other key external stakeholders to drive our brands and win new business within London.
     • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and departments such as customer hub and marketing
     • Develop and execute a specific strategy to win new business in your territory.
     • Managing your customers forecasts, orders & pre-orders, ensuring they get notice of the latest releases.
     • Host staff training, beer events and be a brand ambassador for Siren Craft Brew in London.
     • Clear and timely reporting to head of sales and accurate data input into relevant systems.
     • Ownership of your sales targets and personal development plan.

    We are on the lookout for people with a proactive, can-do attitude who are reliable and have a passion for doing a great job. Our team is small and committed in delivering the highest possible standards of service in accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer online orders to our beer-loving community. This area of the business is agile and responsibilities varied.

    Main duties will include:
    • Preparing web orders and customer collections with accuracy, efficiency and care
    • Performing regular stock takes and picking stock for webshop packing area
    • Keep web packing area tidy and organised
    • Any other duties as reasonably requested by management

  • Driver/Drayperson

    We are looking for an energetic Driver/Drayperson with a can-do attitude to help us deliver our beer to thirsty customers throughout the South East of England. Our drivers don't only deliver great beer, they are the faces of our brewery and help maintain key relationships with our customer base through excellent customer service.

    As a driver for Siren Craft Brew you will be responsible for the safe loading and unloading of all goods, handling cash, correctly completing all required paperwork and to comply with all EU driving regulations, vehicle security requirements and health and safety.

    You must have a clean driving license, experience driving in central London and be capable of lifting heavy weights. Applicants must be aged 25 years or over for insurance reasons.

    Please note, you may also be required to assist in other areas of the company where necessary such as the warehouse and packaging department.

    We are looking for a driven, passionate and ambitious person to join our packaging team, ensuring that fresh beer continues to flow through the brewery with the best possible standards.

    This is a full time role based in Finchampstead.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Ensure beer is packaged to specification which includes record keeping, weights and measures, DO, TPO and CO2 reading
    • Understanding of food hygiene standards and keeping packaging area and equipment to the highest standards
    • Perform package size and format changes within specific parameters for various machines
    • Update and follow checklists to ensure all tasks are performed for specific operations and are communicated to the rest of the team
    • Assist in brewery cellaring for packaging and cleaning procedures (CIP of equipment) where required
    • Create and update SOPs for new and existing machines and processes
    • Move pallets, packaging supplies and packaged product with pallet/forklift trucks
      Work with equipment suppliers to maintain and repair equipment when breakdowns occur
    • Manage spare parts stock and ensure essential spares are kept on site in appropriate storage
    • Working to a planned maintenance schedule

    Experience & Skills Required

    • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing industry, ideally within packaging
    • Experience running a packaging line for both bottles and cans. This may ideally include de-palletisers, fillers, conveyors systems, labelling machines, date coding printers and boxing machines.
    • Be able to problem solve issues on various machines and work to correct machines operating incorrectly or inefficiently
    • Confidence in problem solving breakdowns and able to perform engineering repairs where applicable
    • Good communication skills with manager and packaging team. Also having the ability to communicate across production teams when required
    • Engage in working safely and experience with working with cleaning chemicals safely
    • Good admin skills, keeping records and paperwork up to date
    • Be fit and able to lift and move 25kg
    • Be able to demonstrate you care about getting it right first time
    • Competent with Microsoft Office suite of programs
