  • CELLAR OPERATOR ROLE

    We are looking for a Brewery Assistant to join our Production Team here at Siren Craft Brew.

    This role will involve the checking and cellaring of our award-winning beers from fermentation tanks to bright beer tank as well as helping run our rotary automated canning line.

    The role will require you to be physically fit due to nature of the role.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Fermentation daily readings and adjustments
    • CIP of fermenters and bright beer tanks
    • Transferring of beer using a centrifuge from Fermenter to Brite Beer Tank
    • Ingredient additions to fermenters (Dry Hopping, Coffee additions ect)
    • Basic lab work to check beer specifications
    • Daily checks on equipment in the brewery
    • Ingredient picking and stock checking
    • General housekeeping in the brewery
    • Setup, operation and cleaning of our canning line
    • Working to food hygiene standards set by the brewery
    • Following Standard Operating Procedures once trained
    • Helping in the packaging team when required

    ** Full training will be provided**

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Working in a fast-paced environment
    • Previous experience in Food or Beverage Environment (not essential)
    • Capable of physical work
    • Can do attitude with a positive outlook
    • Interest in beer not essential but would help with your enjoyment in the role

  • CANNING LINE OPERATOR

    We are looking for a Packaging Operator to join our Packaging Team here at Siren Craft Brew.

    Reporting into our Packaging Lead, this role will involve the Packaging of our award-winning beer into kegs, casks and helping on the canning line.

    The role will require you to be physically fit due to nature of the role.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Daily Running of packaging line including Depal, Can Filler, Labelling Machine, and Boxing Machine.
    • Ensure beer is packaged to specification which includes record keeping, weights and measures, DO, TPO and CO2 reading.
    • Understanding of food hygiene standards and keeping packaging area and equipment to the highest standards
    • Perform package size and format changes within specific parameters for various machines.
    Update and follow checklists to ensure all tasks are performed for specific operations and are communicated to the rest of the team.
    • Create and update SOPs for new and existing machines and processes.
    • Move pallets, packaging supplies and packaged product with pallet/forklift trucks.
    • Manage stock in a warehouse and have good organisation with regards to stock rotation and stock management
    • Stocktaking of raw materials, packaging supplies and spare parts
    • Ordering of raw materials and packaging supplies from suppliers and managing delivery schedule to fit in with production schedules.
    • Help to manage supplier relationships where required.

    Regional Sales Manager

    Siren Craft Brew was founded in 2013 and has continued to grow since. We have experienced an amazing 2023, and as a result are looking to expand our sales team.

    We are looking for a driven, passionate and ambitious person to join our sales team. You will have direct responsibility for for winning new business as well as maintaining and growing our existing business within London.

    This is a great opportunity to join a young business in a fun and dynamic environment. You will need to show you are flexible, hard-working and have a track record in sales along with a knowledge and passion for craft beer.

    The position will be primarily based remotely, with travel to the brewery in Finchampstead required occasionally, reporting into the Sales Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Develop a regional strategy of growing distribution, volume, profit and brand experience within a range of channels.

    · Develop mutually beneficial joint business plans with our customers in line with key company objectives.

    · Work with our wholesale partners and other key external stakeholders to drive our brands and win new business within London.

    · Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and departments such as customer hub and marketing

    · Develop and execute a specific strategy to win new business in your territory.

    · Managing your customers forecasts, orders & pre-orders, ensuring they get notice of the latest releases.

    · Host staff training, beer events and be a brand ambassador for Siren Craft Brew in London.

    · Clear and timely reporting to head of sales and accurate data input into relevant systems.

    · Ownership of your sales targets and personal development plan.

    Siren Craft Brew was born in 2013 with a simple idea in mind: to introduce exciting, full-flavoured and forward-thinking beers to as many people as possible. As part of that mission, we offer our beer as fresh as possible - direct from the source through our on-site tasting room and web shop.

    We are on the lookout for people with a friendly, proactive attitude and a passion for customer experience to join our small, committed team in delivering the highest possible standards of service to our beer-loving community. This area of the business is agile and responsibilities varied.

    Main duties will include:
    • Serving and assisting customers (on and off sales)
    • Educating customers about our beer and philosophy
    • Assisting with festivals and other events where and when possible
    • Preparing web orders and customer collections

    You will need to:
    • Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
    • Be flexible (available shifts could vary and the Tap Yard opens on Saturdays)
    • Take pride in your work with great attention to detail
    • Experience is preferred but more important is the willingness to learn and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, community, craft beer or a combination.
