Can You Guess The Hop?
Last week, we launched an exciting new trio of beers, each with a different single hop; but that part remains a mystery, for now. Not only can you pick up some super fresh, double dry-hopped IPAs for your fridge, but you’ll be in with the chance of winning a Siren brewing experience if you correctly guess each hop and go on to win our prize draw! Not only that, but we’ll throw in a Hop Expert t-shirt and a mega beer bundle based on your favourite styles. There's discount codes just for entering your guess, so what's stopping you?
We've had one set of correct answers in so far - could this be you?
Guess The Hop A, B & C are available now online, and in all good tap rooms and bottle shops. From us directly, choose between a trio, six pack or twelve pack of the beer, and be sure to scan the QR code on the can to cast your vote.
If you’re local, drop into our brewery-based Tap Room and try each on draught, with single cans available to pick up from the fridges.
Maiden Blending Day
Each year in early February, our staff are invited to join in with producing the final blend of our anniversary barely wine Maiden. This year will see Maiden 2023, the 11th iteration of the first beer ever to be brewed by Siren.
On the 2nd February 2024, we drank a lot of barley wine, and ate a lot of crackers.
Different barrels have a profound influence in the beer itself, and with dozens to choose from (Red Wine, Bourbon, Rum and Sauternes, just to name a few), the blend is a important final stage in the production of the beer. Each year’s edition of the beer has a different profile from the barrels used, and there is no idyllic flavour profile for Maiden. This is one of our favourite things about the beer, as it leads back to an early value of our brewery - the freedom to experiment.
Maiden 2023 will be releasing in time for our 11th Anniversary in March.
The Six Nations
We’re now two weeks deep into The Six Nations rugby tournament - have you been watching? In our excitement for the event, we launched a new mixed case Rugby On The TV Box, containing a host of lagers, and other sport-suiting beers. After all, good sport needs good beer.
Have you taken a turn at our new Spin The Ball prize wheel? With brilliant prizes up for grabs (including a jackpot of free beer for a year!), follow the link below to take a chance on fate and bag yourself a brilliant discount.
Living local to Siren? These celebrations are in no way limited to our webshop. We’ll be showing (almost) all of the rugby fixtures up to and including the 10th March - after that, our anniversary party will be taking priority! We even have some brand-new 3.5L beer towers available to fill in-house - a perfect way to share brewery fresh beer amongst a larger group. Down the road at our country pub, The George & Dragon, you’ll catch all the games on a large TV in the back room - specially kitted out just for the tournament.
Six Nations not your vibe? Why not pick up one of our Super Bowl Party Boxes to watch the American Football in style, complete with 10 beers and a savoury sharing snack.
Valentine’s Day
Will you beer our Valentine? No matter who you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with this year, we’ve got you covered. Right now, you can get 14% off our gifting category page when you use the code LOVEBEER. This includes a range of gift packs, merchandise and more, perfect to gift on the 14th February.
Included in the offer is our new Love Beer Box, which features 8 beers for the occasion and a large 280g bar of Tony's Chocolonely chocolate. If this hoppy box doesn't win them over, what will?
Jon and the Tap Yard team will be hosting a special Valentine's Day quiz on Wednesday 14th too, so be sure to make it down for a 7pm start (£2 entry per person, no groups larger than 6). Why not try a Red Berry Champagne Rhapsody cocktail while you're down, designed just for the special day using our Red Berry Rhapsody sour beer...

Our team is ever-expanding, and we've welcomed a lot of new faces on board in the past month. This is a great opportunity to introduce you to our full sales team! Trade customers may be familiar with some of these faces already, but you'll be sure to spot them at various events throughout the year...
From left to right: James, Charlotte, Dom, Gabs, Duncan, Lennox, James, Amy, Andy and Ellie
Squatting on the left is Gabs, our new Export Manager who joined us in January. Now in charge of our global reach, we're happy to welcome him on board!
We're also welcoming in our new George & Dragon head chef, Lee, who has come to us with a wealth of culinary experience. Lee's been hard at work on the brand new G&D menu, which we can't wait for you to try if you're down our neck of the woods.
