Sessions & Sours Roundup
The dust has settled after our fourth and most recent brewery party, so it's time to thank everyone that came over and made it such a great day. Once again we scaled up for this one, once again it surpassed all our expectations and once again we've collected plenty of feedback and ideas to make the next event we run even better. We made Sessions & Sours ticket only, something we haven't done before, so it was amazing to sell out a week in advance. We're going to stick with this in future to keep numbers on the day under control, so please book early; we don't like turning people away!
We had some amazing guest beers on the day, so thanks to all the breweries and distributors that helped us collate such a diverse list - we aimed to put together a beer list that you wouldn't find anywhere else in the UK, even in current times where there are so many great bars up and down the country doing superb things for beer. The first keg to kick was Ginspired, but by the end of the day we only had our own reserve beers on the bars, so it seems that everything went down well! We'd also like to thank Mama's Jerk Station who worked tirelessly all day to keep everyone fed, Pig & Hay for coming up with some of the best scotch eggs we've ever tasted with our Mum's The Word, plus all the volunteers who helped us out on the day. Thanks also to Sam Lee, Bear & The Woods, Static in Motion, Broken Smile and Splinters for their sets, and especially Force Ten for working the sound all day and playing us out.
We've put together a Storify to collate the highlights from social media during the day. The amount of content posted throughout the afternoon was pretty staggering, so check it out to see what everyone was up to around the party! Click here to take a look. Finally we have a full album of photos courtesy of PDM Photos, you can see all of these over on Facebook. Thanks again to everyone who came down, we can't wait to welcome you all to the next one!
