Siren Craft Brew x Original Patty Men
We're teaming up with our friends The Original Patty Men to open our first burger/craft beer restaurant on Shaws Passage in Birmingham on this Thursday, 10th December. Having a made a name for themselves at Birmingham’s street food hotspots, including Digbeth Dining Club, Scott O’Byrne and Tom Maher will serve their iconic ‘filthy burgers’ made with mouth-watering 35 day aged longhorn beef from the 33-seated venue. You may know the guys from previous parties at our brewery!O.P.M. hit Birmingham’s up-and-coming street food scene with a background in design and no professional experience in the kitchen – just a love of a great burger. Their dedication to the perfect patty, along with a delicious bun and their simple and inventive branding, have earned them a cult following; not least for their notorious Krispy Kreme burger, now known as ‘Big Verns Krispy Ring’ (a doughnut bun and patty topped with maple bacon, American cheese, ketchup & mustard). Following a British Street Food award for Best Burger, a trip to one of Berlin’s biggest street food festivals, Burgers and Hip Hop, and an invite to serve up their tasty morsels at Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival, the Original Patty Men are taking their next big step. Scott & Tom said: “It’s an Exciting step forward for us and we’re looking forward to being able to set up our first permanent residence. Come get some!.....please” We'll start off with two Siren beers on tap along with more of our brews in bottle, along with some carefully selected guest options too. Of course, there will also be a full range of soft drink options in addition to wines, spirits and cocktails. Expect beer and burger pairings a plenty, including a special Krispy Kreme Broken Dream to kick things off! Make sure you give us a shout on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram if you come down, you can also chat to The Original Patty Men on Twitter here.
