Desert Flame Red IPA Pancakes
Everyone loves pancakes, and beer can be a great substitute for milk in the process. A part of British culture, it's the one day in the year we all decide that yes, today we need to eat pancakes. This recipe uses our Red IPA 'Desert Flame'.
Desert Flame is our stand out Red IPA which combines balanced bitterness with zesty orange notes - perfect for pairing with lashings of sweet maple syrup or a nice sweet vanilla ice cream. The specialty malts used here really come alive to help create a very rich and delicious pancake.
The recipe is incredibly easy. Combine all of the ingredients below, whisk away, gently melt a little additional butter in a pan, and add your batter a ladle at a time. Flip once one side is completely done, wait another minute or so on a medium to low heat, and voila.
