Brewery Tours are Back!

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re delighted to announce that finally… Brewery Tours are back!

When we went into lockdown 1 in 2020, it was with a heavy heart that we had to not just pause, but cancel all future brewery tours. Welcoming people into the brewery for a look around, helping them to learn about the craft beer processes and have a great day out has always been one of our highlights. We love finishing tours in our Tap Yard. Once someone has seen how we work, it’s great to see them enjoy a beer that bit more.

For our Events Manager, Matt, it was one of his first jobs here to have to reach out to everyone with a booking or a voucher to tell them the frustrating news. I don’t think anyone is more delighted than him to be starting up again; tours over zoom just aren't the same!

So, why has it taken so long - after all, we’ve been out of lockdown for some time?

Well, quite simply we’ve had to be very careful. We’re an independent business with a small team. We could not risk any halt in production. Mask wearing has been compulsory in the brewery throughout, as well as rigorous cleaning routines - even more so than normal.

We’ve worked hard to find the best way to get started again in a way that we can still offer the best experience, whilst making sure best practices are followed, maintaining a level of responsibility both for Siren staff, and visitors. We’re incredibly humbled by everyone’s patience and support throughout.

So what can be expected from a brewery tour?

The process starts here online, where you can either buy a voucher, or book a place on a tour.

When you’re on site, head to our Tap Yard to check in with us. Of course, feel free to grab a beer whilst you wait! The tour lasts around 90 minutes, with backstage access to the brewery whilst learning all about our story and how we make beer from recipe to glass. We’ll finish off back at the Tap Yard where you’ll get to try some brewery fresh flagship beers, direct from the source.

Whether or not you’re coming down for a brewery tour, or just for a beer with friends, we look forward to welcoming you in soon!

Brewery Tours FAQ

What's involved?

The tour is split over two sites on the industrial estate. First a guided visit to the brewery, before finishing up in the Tap Yard – our tasting room. Here you can sample 5 fresh beers, straight from the source, included in the ticket price. You'll see our brew house, state of the art canning line, warehousing facilities, cold store, barrel store, our massive tanks and of course the Tap Yard.

How can I sign up?

If you’d like to give someone a voucher, rather than booking an exact date then click here to head to the relevant page on our online shop.

I already have a voucher, is it still valid?

Yes it is, just enter your code into the "Promo Code" section when booking using the online form.

My voucher doesn't have a code...

Ah! You've got an older one, no worries, just give us a call and we'll sort it.

Where should I head to?

We're actually on two sites, so make sure you head to the Tap Yard, not the brewery. We will escort you to the brewery. When you arrive, make yourself known to a member of staff.

Siren Tap Yard - 18 Marino Way, Hogwood Lane Industrial Estate, Finchampstead, RG40 4RF.

There is parking on site, and you can arrive by taxi or bus, details of which are on the Tap Yard section of our website.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked slot, but you're welcome to come earlier to enjoy the Tap Yard for a bit first. However, be aware that you'll be entering a working brewery and staff have the right to refuse you access if they feel you're a danger to yourself.

How long does the tour last?

Tours last about 90 minutes and end up in the Tap Yard, from there you can spend as long as you want trying some of the brewery fresh beers!

Will I need to wear anything special?

Hi-vis jackets will be provided. Please make sure you arrive with suitable footwear, no open toed sandals or flip-flops please. In winter, the brewery can be cold so wear a jacket.

Are dogs welcome?

Dogs are always welcome at the Tap Yard but will not be able to join you on the tour of the brewery. If you're bringing your pooch, make sure someone is available to look after them whilst you're on the tour.

Can kids do the tour?

Our tours are for over 18s only.

Do I need to wear a mask?

You're not required by law, but we'd appreciate it if you did. Also, please try and give others as much space as possible and remain respectful.
