The Tap Yard is back for drinking on site

It feels like forever ago since the Tap Yard, our hub for brewery fresh Siren beer, was bustling with thirsty craft beer fans all gathered together to enjoy a beer in the company of others.

When we went into the latest lockdown we all knew this was going to be hard for everyone. This was going to last until the country was in a better position. No more localised lock-downs or tiers, and not really knowing when we might come out - but we’re finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel! Lockdown has eased, and whilst we still all need to remain vigilant and supportive of others, it feels so good to say that the Tap Yard can once again invite you down to drink on-site.

As of Friday 16th of April we’re super excited to be able to welcome you all back here at the Tap Yard from 12pm. The weather is brightening up, the evenings are getting longer and we’ll have a regular flow of beautiful beers. Not only that, street food vendors will be returning and we already have Saturdays and Sundays booked up for the months ahead.

For the time being, drinking on site will only be on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We’ll be open as a bottleshop still on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but as there’s a regular flow of lorries, vans and activity during the week outdoor seating is not possible on these days. As soon as we can, we’ll open back up fully with indoor seating, including our brand new shipping containers, which we’ve converted with lighting, heating and bespoke seating.

For now, to make sure the weekends go as smoothly as possible and we can serve you in good time, we’ve welcomed some new members to the team to help us give you the best possible experience. Adam, Kiara, Ryan, and Richard will all be welcoming you with smiley faces and will be making sure you don’t go thirsty while you are here!

As always, we appreciate your patience and support, but feel free to send any feedback via social media message or email as we’re always looking to improve.

As always, please don’t come down to us if you’re showing any symptoms of illness. If you need to cancel a book, let us know as soon as possible.

Make sure you bring a suitable face mask. As we have gazebos to keep the weather out as best as possible, please wear your mask whenever you’re not seated. We know it’s not always easy to remember, but please work with us and don’t be offended if reminded by staff.

If you are booked. please arrive on time for your booking. We can only hold bookings for 15 minutes past the booking start time.

We will be offering table service only. You can check out sirencraftbrew.com/whatson or search Siren Craft Brew in the venue section of Untappd. Here you’ll see what’s on tap and what’s in the fridges.

Weekdays

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the Tap Yard is open as a Bottleshop. As has been the way for the last few months, numbers inside are limited and masks must be worn. The Tap Yard will still operate as a takeaway bottle shop on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays but if you’re drinking on-site it will be table service only.

General Info

We appreciate that the rules and regulations don’t make for the most fun time, but if we all adhere to this for a bit longer, then normal service can resume.

If at any point you’re not sure about something, confused or need to ask a question, don’t hesitate to find a member of staff and they will do their best to help you.

We aren’t always able to staff our main social media channels at the weekend. If you need to get in touch then please phone the Tap Yard on 0118 973 0929

We’re really excited about this next step to normality, as I’m sure you all are, and we cannot wait to welcome you back and get that beer flowing again!

Cheers!
